Questions and Answers for Owners
When do you distribute the rent?
Flagship issues checks for "seasonal" rentals on the 15th and 30th of each month. However, during the months of January through April, we also issue checks on the 5th.
How much of a security deposit do you hold?
We don't. We discovered that we can better satisfy the owner and have fewer dissatisfied renters if claims are not made on a security deposit; thus, we don't require one. We do, however, take responsibility for any claim caused by a Flagship guest of up to $250.00. No questions asked!
What about long distance phone charges?
There should not be any; and if there are, we reimburse you. We can arrange a phone "block" that conveniently charges long distance calls directly to the guest's credit card. As an owner, you will be provided a by-pass code.
Do you require a balance in my account?
Yes. $250.00. By having the ability to pay our vendors upon completion of work, we receive quick response. This ability insures a continuous uninterrupted vacation for our guests; and with quick and efficient response, the likelihood of repeat visits is heightened.
Who pays for the cleaning; and can I use my cleaner?
Upon departure we contract a cleaning service to prepare for the next visitor. The fee from cleaning is deducted from the rent. Flagship also employs an inspector to verify the quality of most cleanings. While some owners have previously employed a cleaner, we find it most efficient to utilize cleaners that are proporly licensed and trained to deliver the quality needed to satisfy owners, guest and the Florida Health Department.
How do I know if my property is rented?
We want you to be as much aware of our activities as we are. Upon receiving initial monies (25% of the total rent), we mail you notice, indicating the rental period. It is important to realize that we often rent to "walk-ins"; so please contact us before committing to guests, relatives or surprising us with your presence.
What if I rent my property or I send "guests"
We are always here to service the occupants of your property. Whether occupied by you, your relatives or your guests, we will do what is necessary. We only ask that we be compensated for our services; and our fee is reduced by 50% if you provide the renter.
